• premium payments - the new owner will be responsible for premium payments
• beneficiary designation - the new owner will be able to change the beneficiary at any point, except in the case of an irrevocable beneficiary
• assignment rights - the new owner can assign the policy
• online account access - the new owner is the sole individual who has access to the policy

If you are ready to proceed, gather the following information and documents:

• Full name of the new owner (individual, trust, or entity)
• Email address of the new owner
• An up-to-date certification of trust (if you are transferring ownership to a trust)
